Idiom Technologies Gains Traction With Global Content Management Solution

Motorola Selects Idiom WorldServer to Streamline Multilingual Translation Process, Strengthening Worldwide Brand Consistency and Quality of Content

Waltham, Massachusetts - February 13, 2003 - Idiom Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of global content management solutions, today announced that Motorola, Inc., a global leader in providing integrated communications and embedded electronic solutions, has selected Idiom WorldServer(tm) to streamline the multilingual translation of online and offline content for international markets.

Motorola's Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN) Group, manufacturer of multi-function handsets that combine the capabilities of an Internet-ready digital wireless phone, text pager, and two-way radio will utilize WorldServer to increase translation turnaround time while enabling more consistent and higher-quality localization of products and services for international markets.

"Motorola's accelerating international growth called for a solution that could be implemented quickly, required little customization and leveraged the company's existing technology," said Joe Fiorentino, president and CEO of Idiom Technologies. "This further validates our vision and marks the next generation of enterprise solutions that manage the life cycle of content - from creation to globalization - in a single, cost-effective offering."

WorldServer, which will initially be leveraged for the localization of U.S. English into Spanish, Portuguese, French Canadian, Hebrew and Korean, is expected to provide significant reduction in translation costs. Additionally, WorldServer's Workbench and Web client interfaces will provide iDEN with " Preview in Context," which will streamline the quality assurance process associated with translation, as well as reduce the training requirements for internal personnel, external partners, and translation vendors.

Idiom WorldServer is a J2EE application that brings advanced content and globalization management to existing Web infrastructures. Motorola is one of the latest companies to join Idiom's growing roster of customers including Adobe, Oracle, Eastman Chemical, General Electric, PTC, Staples, Travelocity, among others.
