Seasoned Executive Brings Extensive International Experience to E-business Globalization Firm
Cambridge, MA - March 2, 2000 - Idiom, Inc., the premier provider of e-business globalization solutions, today announced it has named Yann Meersseman as vice president of globalization. Meersseman's responsibilities include the expansion of Idiom's offerings in localization, translation and internationalization, as well as development of future e-business globalization capabilities.

Meersseman brings more than 15 years of experience to Idiom. Prior to joining the company, Meersseman served as the vice president of globalization at Platinum Technology, Inc. At Platinum, he was responsible for the worldwide internationalization, translation and localization of over 160 multi-platform product lines developed by 35 U.S.-based development labs. He has also served as president of Yann Meersseman and Associates, an independent globalization and localization consultancy. Meersseman's career has led him to work in countries around the globe including The Netherlands, Switzerland, France and the U.S. He completed his electronics engineering education at Hoger Rijksinstituut in Belgium.
