Aimed at the translation and localization needs of global organizations of all sizes, Idiom now provides deployment and licensing options to suit nearly every IT resource and budgetary need. These options include hosted solutions, with the ability to deploy WorldServer offsite in a secure datacenter, and month-to-month or multi-year term licensing choices in addition to the company's traditional perpetual license agreements.

WorldServer Hosted Solutions
All global companies tend to face similar translation and localization challenges. However, varying degrees of budget restrictions and available IT systems and resources often impact their ability to choose and deploy enterprise-class globalization solutions. With WorldServer™ Hosted Solutions these companies now have additional flexibility in deciding how best to deploy WorldServer to suit their evolving globalization needs.
With WorldServer Hosted Solutions, Idiom Professional Services or an Idiom Technologies Certified Partner install, configure and run WorldServer offsite in a secure, reliable and high-performance datacenter. Customers are able to get up and running quickly on WorldServer, while enabling existing IT resources to focus on other priorities.
Unlike alternative solutions, WorldServer was designed from the outset as a Web-based, server/thin-client solution to support customers' geographically dispersed network of globalization managers, language service providers and translators. All WorldServer Hosted Solutions are based on a dual-server configuration designed for optimal performance. Customers may choose from Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database, and a variety of user configurations.
WorldServer Term Licensing
An alternative to traditional perpetual licensing plans, WorldServer™ Term Licensing provides customers with the option to make time-limited software licensing commitments on a month-to-month or multi-year basis. This offering provides customers with more flexible payment options, versus a single capital expenditure, which is especially attractive for departmental purchases within large organizations. Additionally, software maintenance is included in the term license fee, ensuring that customers have timely access to new WorldServer releases.
Leading Language Service Providers to Offer Hosted WorldServer Solutions

By engaging LSPs to host WorldServer internally, global companies are able to ease the transition to implementing a full-scale globalization solution. This partnership strategy is appealing to companies that either don't have the resources to manage such a system on their own, or seek to test return on investment through an LSP or other third-party partner. If the customer chooses to host and manage their own globalization solution as their business needs evolve, the migration would be seamless and accelerated.
